This program at the International Summer University is without equal. After Empire: Collapse of Communism and Beyond takes its students to Estonia (Tartu), Russia (St. Petersburg) and Ukraine (Kyiv). Three countries in three weeks!
Lectures are delivered and take place at leading universities: University of Tartu, St. Petersburg State University and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Special seminars and meetings with businessmen, diplomats and politicians are part of the program, as well as visits to enterprises, governemental and NGO institutions, media companies.
In addition to thought-provoking lectures each location offers exciting culture program in each location, including city tours of these fascinating cities, visits to opera and ballet theater, world famous Hermitage (Russia), Lavra Cave Monastery (Ukraine), and much more.
